DQ Java Co. Under Scrutiny Regarding Fair Trade Initiatives.
Orlando, Florida - November 5, 2023 - There have been rumors of our coffee bean products being purchased by other coffee suppliers that facilitate under unethical practices. Despite these rumors, @DQJavaCo. has been certified and recognized as part of Fairtrade International.
According to Fairtrade International, "Fairtrade changes the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fairer deal for farmers and workers in developing countries."
It is imperative that our employees, stakeholders, and customers understand the #promise to #fairtradeinitiatives for farmers and producers as an important #ethical factor to our #success as a company. We have undergone a full investigation into the recent whispers of our production and have ensured that any information will be corrected and accurate to secure continued success.
In the event of our continued success, it would be ideal to have our employees understand the importance in their work ethic. While most whispers have been heard in regards to layoffs, we as a company would like to point out the significance each employees plays in the success of the company. DaQuinn Lloyd (@DQJavaCO_VPCOMM), Vice President of Communications at DQ Java Co. says, "our employees are the heart and culture of our coffee shop. Without our employees, there would not be a shop." At this time, there are no indicating evidence of layoffs to occur. There will be a major focus internally to highlight the mission and goals of the company.
